I agree with the other comments, but the thing that makes this shot great for me is the crane nest and lovely white crane atop the bell tower. beautiful and singular.
beautiful image, I like the contrast between the cars and the structure- thank you for stopping by the blog for WW- I noticed the flaw you demonstrated- I used Camera Pudding app with a built in texture, layer- I appreciate your keen eye! Best, Amelia
Thank you all. You are very much welcome to visit again.
@Frank: I also like that. It is a stork though. I didn't think anyone would notice it. If you like it, I dedicated a separate post to those beautiful creatures a few posts ago. You can check it out here: http://www.travel-pb.com/2012/07/storks-of-el-espinar.html
@amelia: I am glad you took my remark in a good way as it was intended. :)
Fantastic capture. This shot just reeks antiquity and history. Yet, the clock, bells and that huge birds nest add so many interesting things to see that I could spend a day on one of those balconies relaxing and watching the day go by.
Awesome! I'll have to look at it when I get to a bigger computer because I can't quite make out the bell room shape. I thought by the title it was going to be in Sedona AZ where there is a rock formation called that.
@Curiosa Kat: I definitely tried to capture every possible detail of this cute little village. Unfortunately my time there was very short but I did get some really nice shots. Some of those and a few more from an even more charming neighboring village will be published in next couple of post.
Marlene: You will have a chance to see more of this in my future posts. You should check us out more often. ;)
AVCr8teur: Unfortunately there was no sound of bells during our short visit. It would be interesting to see it in action though. The whole tower thing didn't appear all that stable.
Wow. That is quite exquisite. Such an interesting photo too as the structure contrasts with the modern motor cars.
ReplyDeleteIt really is a nice contrast but I would like it even more if those cars were not there. :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo! Love all the texture!
ReplyDeleteImpressive structure.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot there
ReplyDeleteHave a good week :-)
Loc sigur pentru un cuib de barză.

Fabulous buildings. The cars add an interesting contrast.

ReplyDeleteIndeed is the contrast between old and new.

ReplyDeleteVery striking structure! This type of architecture I want to see more.
ReplyDeletewow. just....wow. this is ahhhhhmazing.
ReplyDeleteLovely architecture. I like the black railings and colorful flowers on the balconies. Are the bells ever rung?
